No, it is not hard to get into the Shannon College of Hotel Management although there are specific requirements for students to comply. For the Bachelor of Commerce (International Hotel Management) program, the minimum entry requirements are a Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, Mathematics, and any two other subjects recognized for entry purposes after which all applicants are required to attend an interview that will determine their selection.
