Starting July, Politecnico di Milano starts sending offers to students who have applied. The same is reflected on the university portal. For specific courses, an interview invitation is sent before making an offer.
For engineering courses, the offer is made in September. Applicants may check the status of their application and the course details on the portal. There is a small window of three days to pay the course fees after selection.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply to the Politecnico di Milano with scanned documents at the admission process time. All documents submitted during the application process need to be in English or accompanied by certified translated copies.
For bachelor’s courses, the required documents are:
- Proof official school records, degrees, and other certifications specifying a clear relation between credits awarded and hours of study
- Students with a native language other than English have to give proof of English proficiency compulsorily; TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge test scores are accepted for English proficiency proofs
