In my opinion, Maharaja College is better than Subodh College. You can consider the below parameters 1) Faculty, 2) Affiliation / Recognition, 3) Course Material, 4) Quality Education, 5) Fees 6) Infrastructure, 7) Success Rate, 8) Placement, 9) Top recruiting companies.
Selection is based on class 12th board's percentage. I scored 64% marks. The cut off for the course was 62% marks in 2011. I opted for this college because, it is an okay college with low fees and it being a government college, so the degree is also valuable. You should check with admission authorities if you will be allowed lateral entry in the 2nd-year to a different college. You should also maintain a good academic record so that they cannot question your motives to transfer to another institute.
