The courses offered by SKUAST Jammu are BSc, BVSc, MSc, MBA, MVSc, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate. SKUAST Jammu offers 67 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in multiple streams such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, etc. The university accepts admission to its courses based on valid scores in SKUAST J-CET (Jammu Common Entrance Test).

SKUAST Jammu offers three kinds of specialisations, namely, Frontier Scholarship, Merit cum means scholarship and Maulana Azad Scholarship.

 Yes, there are few seats reserved for management quota/ NRI/ self-finance/ ICAR students.

Students can apply online through the official website of SKUAST. After filling the application form, pay the application fee and submit the form. Below are the steps to apply for SKUAST Jammu:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SKUAST.

Step 2: Select 'Admission Notices' in the Home page and click on the application link.

Step 3: Register with the basic details to generate login credentials.

Step 4: Login to fill out the application form and upload documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

SKUAST accepts UG, PG and PhD students on the basis of valid scores in SKUAST J CET exam.  Aspirants applying through ICAT Quota are offered seats through All India Counselling by ICAR after CUET. Admission under VCI Quota is offered through NEET based on the list provided by VCI via their counselling portal. 

 The course is of a two-year duration. It can be completed in three to four years at maximum.

Admission is based on scores in the Kashmir University Entrance Exam. Aspirants can apply by filling out the application form and submitting it on time at the university admission office. Further, before form filling, students must check the minimum eligibility criteria carefully and shall have the relevant documents as well.
