Admission to M.Ed course at Kashmir University have not started yet. As per the previous year's admission schedule, the application portal is likely to open in the March 2026.

No, direct admission is not applicable for M.Ed at Kashmir University. Candidates must appear and qualify for KUET entrance exam, which is conudcted by the university for admission to all its PG courses. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill a registration form on the official website of the university and appear for the exam as per the defined timeline.

Aspirants must pass B.Ed or equivalent from a recognised university to apply for M.Ed programme at Kashmir University. Candidates must have documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. The selection for M.Ed is entrance-based.

To get admission to M.Ed course at Kashmir University, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates gradutaed with B.Ed and having a valid work experience are eligible to apply for M.Ed course at Kashmir University. The final admission to this course is offered based on candidates' performance in Kashmir University Entrance Test. All the M.Ed aspirants of Kashmir University must register for the exam on the university's official website and qualify it with a valid score. 

On the basis of NIRF ranking, NIT is better. The rankings are 82 and 151 for NIT Srinagar and IUST respectively. The facilities provided by NIT Srinagar are better than IUST. Apart from the B.Tech and M.Tech courses, NIT Srinagar offers MSc, MBA and PhD programmes across various specialisations.

Whereas IUST offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD-level programs such as BTech, BSc, BA, BVoc, MTech, MSc, MA, MBA, MCA, etc.under its schools of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences and Business Studies.

IUST (Islamic University of Science and Technology) is one of the best universities in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
