In particular, it comes in at 5186th place worldwide and 409th in India for Physics, suggesting a rather low standing in the engineering sector. This is indicative of a larger trend in which the university is better known for particular engineering subfields like materials Science and nanotechnology.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu branch, is considered a good institution for pursuing PG Diploma courses, but if I have to say which is the best one, I'll definitely go with the IIMC Delhi, as the highest placement was from the Delhi branch with a salary package of a stunning 20 LPA. But since you're specifically asking about the Jammu branch, I'll say that it holds a decent reputation too, although its not better from the Delhi one so if you can manage living in Delhi, then I'll suggest you to go for that only and not the Jammu one.
