In order to be considered for admission to the five-year B.A. and LLB program, a candidate must have earned at least 45% of the possible points (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in the Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (10+2 pattern) or an equivalent exam in any subject offered by the J&K Board of Secondary Education. Based on their performance in the University of Jammu's Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET), students are admitted to the Dogra Law College through the University of Jammu.

Counseling for admission to the Cluster University of Jammu will begin on September 6, 2024. The merit list of selected candidates will be published on September 4, 2024.

SKUAST Jammu selects candidates for MBA based on entrance exam score and merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline to apply for MBA. The university also accepts national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT and CMAT for MBA admission. Selected candidates are further called for a group discussion and personal interview round.

Yes, SKUAST Jammu offers two-year MSc course spread across four semesters. MSc is available in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Agricultural Engineering. Candidates can also apply for MSc in Basic Sciences. Aspirants with a bachelor's degree in relevant subjects can apply for MSc programme. The selection for SKUAST MSc is based on SKUAST-J CET score.

Aspirants seeking admission to SKUAST BSc (Hons) must complete Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with PCB/ PCM/ PCBM/ Agriculture (with Science subjects), besides English with 50% aggregate for OM, NRI/ NRI-sponsored category. The aggregate required is 40% for reserved categories. Candidates from states/ UTs other than Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh can only seek admission under the NRI/ NRI sponsored quota for BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture and against Self Financing, seats for PG courses kept under the All India Basis category.
