It's not an objective question I prefer you to go through both websites and then make the choice. Moreover, I can suggest you according to data by NIRF, SMVDU has been ranked 16th in Architecture category and 101 in Engineering category where as SLIET rank 151 in its Engineering category.

According to the information available on Shiksha.com, the total fees for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is INR 3.60 lakh (for 3 years), while the fee for a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is INR 2,67,000 for the duration of 4 years. Therefore, SLIET is less expensive than Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

I think both SLIET and SMVDU are reputed institutes for B.Tech in India.
- SMVDU is better than SLIET for placement and facilities
- The package range of SLIET is INR 4 TO 19 Lakh.
- The package offered at SMVDU is INR 4.5 to 25 Lakh.
- The growth rate offered at SMVDU roughly 30%, 10% is SLIET.
