Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 46249 and closing rank was 99158. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Biotechnology in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 99158 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Biotechnology in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. For female candidates in general category under All India quota B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 106035. In 2022, it decreased to 99158. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 49814 to for OBC, 245359 to 223125 for SC, 385500 to 470640 for ST, 165567 to 111075 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Candidates can apply for XLRI Delhi's Business Management programme on the official website by selecting the course and campus option while filling the XAT application form which is released in the first week of August every year.
