For the IIT Dhanbad ISM cutoff 2024, a total of 5 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs were released for BTech admission. Talking about the JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 for the last round, IIT BHU is more competitive among the students. The Last Round cutoff for IIT BHU was 1071 for CSE, which is very low as compared to IIT Dhanbad's CSE cutoff 3846 for general AI category students.
As per the NIRF 2023 rankings, IIT BHU was ranked 31st in the Engieering category, while IIT Dhanbad was ranked 42nd positon. Candidates can refer to the table below to consider other aspects, such as the CSE course fee and the average package for both institute

IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Electrical Engineering other than General category are mentioned below:
- 2938 for OBC
- 1589 for SC
- 638 for ST
- 136 for EWS

IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering other than General category are mentioned below
- 1190 for OBC
- 712 for SC
- 243 for ST
- 466 for EWS
- 109 for PWD

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 6967 and closing rank was 7784. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2065 and 12466. Admission to B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM) - Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 cut off was 7784 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Electrical Engineering. IIT Dhanbad (ISM) Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) admissions 2024 are based on IIT2 Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12466 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 22174. In 2023, it decreased to 20752. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from

NIT Jamshedpur will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The number of seats available in the course
