To apply for B.E./B.Tech at BIT Mesra – Patna Extension Center (2025):

• Appear for JEE Main, secure a valid rank.
• Register for JoSAA/CSAB counselling (expected to begin ~June 3, 2025) 
• Select BIT Patna during the choice-filling process .
• After seat allotment, complete document verification and pay fees via the online portal.

Alternatively, lateral entry (2nd-year B.Tech) is available (for diploma/B.Sc. holders) by online BIT Mesra application (May–June window).

No Direct (Management) Admission for B.Tech

• According to Shiksha.com, B.Tech admissions at BIT Patna are based only on JEE Main score and counselling. Management or direct admissions are not allowed.

• All B.Tech seats, including those at Patna, are filled via JoSAA/CSAB counselling based solely on JEE Main ranks 
• Extension campuses like Patna follow the same centralized merit-based process. No seats are reserved for walk-in or management quota applicants.
