Until the last year, AIR was decided based on the combination of marks in JEE Mains and 12th. However, from this year onwards it will be decided only on the basis of JEE Mains. Hence, data of previous years is actually of no use now. Just wait for few weeks and 'college predictor' sites will come. You can check here then.

Many foreign companies do come for picking up students from IIT's. Packages offered at Kanpur IIT are reported to be good and in the range of 6-8 Lacs.

The package offered during campus placement in IIT - K is wound Rs.5 LPA to Rs.8 LPA.

Like all business schools, SIES also has same class for engineer / non-engineer students in the PGDM course.

Not recommended, placements have been tad low and overall brand reputation is not that great, you can choose a well-known brand for a lucrative career ahead.

It's quite tough to prepare for JEE Mains and at same time study on first year. In addition, many colleges simply refuse to give TC. You should have taken drop of year.

It depends upon your entrance test that you take. Take exams like CAT/MAT/ and other entrance examinations, secure good score and you will get admission. All the best.

We were planning to conduct in other cities but for now, it is only in Kanpur.

CS in IIT K is the most premier course. Good aim. I feel you will need to be in at least 90 percentile bracket to get branch and place of your choice.
