St Joseph College of Communication BCom admission is entirely based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Candidates who have passed Class 12 examinationcan apply for BCom programme and candidates who wish to take admission through the Management Quota must have obtained minimum 65% aggregate in Class 12 examination.

First of all St Teresa's College which is autonomous institute present in Ernakulum, Kerala offers 23 UG and 11 PG programs and provides admission to girls students only. On the other hand, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit which is a public institute located in Kerala itself aims at providing Sanskrit and Indology studies.
According to NIRF report of 2022 the median packages of both the universities are as follows:-
- The median package for UG 3-year course in SSUK was INR 1.80 LPA whereas it was INR 2.04 LPA in STC.
