The NIELIT syllabus is published online at nielit.gov.in. The candidates can verify the units and topics is available by going through the NIELIT syllabus. To prepared well for the exam, the candidates are recommended to verify the official syllabus so that they know the topics to be covered. Course-wise syllabus will be published online.

The NIELIT O level will be conducted as a pen-and-paper test. The students have to attempt four theory papers and one practical exams. The theory exam will be of objective multiple-choice type. Each paper will be of 100 marks. There will be no adverse marking for wrong answers. NIELIT O level is conducted twice a year.

NIELIT results will be declared online by the officials. To get the result, the candidates will need to log in with the necessary credentials. The candidates will need to submit their exam year, name, roll number and date of birth to log in and view their result. No other method will be adopted for announcing the NIELIT results.

Follow the steps below to check the NIELIT O Level result:
Open the official website, student.nielit.gov.in.
Locate the "View Result" link in the window.
Go to the section and select the course for which you wish to check the result.
Now, fill in the "Exam Year, Exam Date/Roll Number, Name, and Date of Birth."
Check the information and click on the "View" button.
The detailed grade sheet and the result will show up.
Download it and take a printout for future use.

The candidates can verify the information about the designated exam centre after downloading the admit card. The NIELIT admit card allotment will be based on the preferences given by the candidates during the application form and available seats.
