Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) offers a full-time MBA programme with a duration of two years. Admission to the programme is conducted through several national-level entrance exams, KMAT/CMAT/CAT/MAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). MG University placement report 2025 is not released. However, according to MGU Kerala NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements 2024 stood at INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, 26 students out of 38 students were placed during MG University UG 5-year placements 2024. 

The MG University Library was established in 1989. The library has individual workspaces, room for group study and teaching, audio-visual access and an online information retrieval system. The University Library has a collection of 57,350 books, 2,500 e-books, 2,050 theses and 7,500 bound volumes of journals. In addition to this, the library subscribes to 253 current Indian (169) and Foreign (84) journals, 4 Online Databases and 4 Online Journal Archives.

Kariavattom Campus of Kerala University has a playground where students play football, cricket and hockey. A Gymnasium and other facilities for participating in adventure sports are available in the Department of Physical Education which houses a stadium as well. The above facilities are open to all students without any reservation. A shuttle court, basketball court and facilities for indoor games are also available at the campus.

Yes, the University of Kerala has separate hostels for both boys and girls. There are six hostels under the University of Kerala at Kariavattom campus and at Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. Two boys (PG & Research) and three girls (Two PG & One Research) hostel at Kariavattom Campus and one girl hostel at Vazhuthacaud. Also, the university provides an International Youth Hostel to cater to the temporary residential needs of the students and faculty.
