In Amity University Kolkata, Application for withdrawal from the course is to be submitted through Amizone. The college not accepts other mode of request. Given below are refund guidelines for withdrawal of application:

Refund will be processed on receipt of written request from the student. The refund will be made within 45 to 60 days from the date of receipt of refund application

To withdraw the application from the hostel, candidates must submit their request through Amizone. Hostel fee once paid will not be refunded in case of withdrawal at any point in time. Further, the security deposits will be refunded after adjustment or clearance of any dues, such as the following:

• Alumni Life Member Fee @1000/- (Compulsory)
• IT Damage Charges
• Admin Damage Charges
• Central Library Charges
• Academics (Lab, Department Library/book bank, CRC, etc.)
• Examination Dues
• ID Card Charges Rs. 500/- (If not returned)
• Any other dues (Gate pass Charges/Duplicate ID Card etc.)

The Calcutta University may reserve certain seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST or other such categories. It follows the reservation rules of the Government of West Bengal. Candidates taking admission under a reserved category have to submit the relevant document for verification. Moreover, the university has a seat intake of 120 for the BA LLB course. There are a total of 120 seats for the BA LLB programme at the Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta. Candidates are admitted based on sanctioned seat intake and score in the entrance exam. For admission to BA LLB programme of Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to register and take the entrance test. Calcutta University admit candidates to the integrated course based on Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. The Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) 2024 was conducted on Aug 18. This exam date is as per the 2024 official notification released by the university.
