Mangalore University does accept the scores of its university-level entrance exam for admissions to MA courses. Moreover, on the official website of the university, the accepted scores of Karnatka PGCET are not mentioned anywhere. However, the university is affiliated with various colleges. So, there are chances that some of the university-affiliated colleges might accept the scores of the Karnataka PGCET for admissions to MA courses. To get a better clarification, candidates are suggested to directly reach out to the admission department of the university/ affiliated-colleges.

The total fee for a MA course at Bangalore University ranges from 10,000 to INR 2 lakh. On the other hand, Mangalore University MA fees range from INR 6,300 to INR 22,700. Hence, Mangalore University is more affordable for MA courses compared to Bangalore University. However, to consider which institute is the best option for an MA, the fee structure can be one component that candidates can consider, but several other factors can be counted while competing with the universities, such as placement packages, recognition, specialsiations offered, seats, rankings, accreditation, etc.
