Mangalore University offers a BSc in Animation and Visual Effects course for the duration of three years. This course is offered through one of its affiliated college- Silicon College of Advanced Studies. The subjects offered in the first semester of this course include theory and practical subjects that are closely related to creating or enhancing imagery in films, games, and other media. Yes, candidates can get direct admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges. However, before getting enrolled, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, i.e., the successful completion of the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with related stream/ subjects. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination marks.
