No, you cannot enroll for Mangalore University; the prescribed admission process applies here. In most of its courses, entry to Mangalore University occurs on the basis of merit and entrance tests for each course type. For the undergraduate and the postgraduate programs, you just have to pass the requirements to qualify and apply online while in other instances, appear for entrance exams conducted by Mangalore University. The required documents during the B.E. / B.Tech application process at PA College of Engineering are:
- SSLC marks card
- PUC/Plus Two marks card
- Conduct certificate from your previous institution
- Transfer certificate from your previous institution
- Migration certificate if you're not from Karnataka

To be accepted into a B.A. or alternative B. Tech course at P. A., you must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to be admitted to the College of Engineering and Technology (PACET) in Coimbatore:
Pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam from an approved board or council with at least 45 percent of the possible points. Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam in a vocational subject must also have passed an engineering-related subject, such as physics, mathematics, or chemistry. Candidates from Karnataka who are SC, ST, or OBC must receive at least 40 percent of the possible points.
