Postgraduate classes are strictly merit-based with regard to candidates' qualifications in their previous last qualifying examinations. Finally, short-listed students at both the above-mentioned courses may also face an interview. The eligibility criteria include passing some relevant exams, such as a Class 12 exam. Manipur admission process is both entrance-based and merit-based. Eligible candidates must apply online on the official website of the university. For majority of the PG programmes such as MSc, M.A., MBBS, candidates must have atleast 50% in graduation with the relevant subjects. Selection is done based on entrance exams [ NEET/CAT/XAT/MAT], whichever is applicable.
