Yes, you can join Sikkim University with or without entrance exams. The University offers admission via an entrance exam and merit based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam. Merit-based admission is offered for courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, etc. However, for the flagship course, BTech admission is based on either JEE Main or SMIT Entrance Exam. Candidates only have to qualify for the eligibility criteria, and based on their performance in the qualifying exam, a merit list will be prepared.

Kasturba Medical College provides a full-time MBBS programme at the undergraduate level. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English and have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology can apply for admission to Manipal Medical College's MBBS programme. The institute recognises NEET UG rank and marks for admission to the MBBS curriculum. In general, applicants to Manipal College of Dental Sciences who do not pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) are not eligible for direct admission to the BDS program. To guarantee an objective evaluation of their academic preparedness, candidates for undergraduate dental programs in India are required to sit the NEET exam. NRI quotas or management may make some seats available even though NEET qualification is still required.

Manipur University cutoff for UG courses, including BEd and BA Korean is based on CUET UG scores followed by round-wise counselling. As per cutoff 2022, the closing scores after rounds of counselling, stood at 133 for B.A. in Korean for the General Category candidates from All India Quota.
