As per the current script, placements are considered the most important part of council life, so placements are relatively decent at NIT Manipur. The CTC ranges between INR 5 and INR 55 ( LPA) in the CSE branch, and the average CTC for the 2023 batch ( CSE) is INR12.5 ( LPA).

Yes, NIT Manipur is one of the best colleges in Eastern India for the BTech CSE branch. Looking at the past year cutoff, Computer Science Engineering is also the most competitive and popular specialisation of NIT Manipur. Talking about placements, the highest package offered during NIT Manipur placements 2023 stood at INR 47 LPA. Further, a total of 37 companies visited the campus and 147 offers were made during NIT Manipur placements 2023.

The closing rank for NIT Manipur BTech, MTech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. For BTech, JoSAA releases closing rank for every category of candidates. Looking at the past three-year trend of JEE Main cutoff, BTech CSE was found to have the most competitive closing rank in 2024. In 2023, the rank for CSE was 26719 which declined to 30611 in 2024.
