For NIT Manipur, the BTech fee mentioned in the academic schedule doesn't include hostel and mess charges. Students choosing to stay on campus will have to pay additional fees for hostel accommodation and daily meals. These charges are usually paid at the beginning of each semester along with the academic fees.

At NIT Manipur, the BTech students have better access to research labs and government-funded projects than many other mid-tier engineering colleges. The institute encourages undergraduate research, and students often publish papers in international journals with their professors. There is a strong emphasis on innovation through the institute's incubation center. While top IITs might have more funding, NIT Manipur offers solid research opportunities.

Choosing NIT Manipur for your BTech provides the advantage of an "Institute of National Importance" tag at a much lower cost than private colleges. The faculty members are highly qualified, mostly with PhDs from premier institutes like IITs. You also get access to better government scholarships and research funding. Unlike many private colleges, the placement process here is highly standardised and attracts top-tier global companies.
