Earlier your board marks were also considered for getting entrance into DTU/DCE. But now your marks in the entrance exam are enough. But yes, you need to score as high as possible because cut off is not only marks based, it is also based on the rank you score in the entrance (JEE Mains). So you need to be better than others giving the exam with you. The cut off also differ if you are from Delhi or Outside Delhi and is also different for General, SC, ST, OBC etc. Quota. CAT is compulsory only if you want to get admission into all the IIMS and some top non-IIMS like SP Jain, FMS, MDI, etc. You can give other exams too like XAT CMAT NMAT, SNAP IIFT CET, etc. As per your convenience and the choice of your dream colleges which accept those scores. I'll prefer you to opt for the IIMT, as this is the best college in all the other colleges in your list as this college has best faculty that a private college can have, provides the excellent placements in the whole region and has the top class infra of the college.
