Yes, the University has a dedicated placement cell. The official placement report or brochure has not been released. However, the NIRF report of 2024 has been disclosed. As per the report, 1,612 out of 2,712 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2023 drive. Furthermore, 39 out of 72 UG (5-year) students were placed. In addition to this, the median package offered to UG (4-year0 and UG (5-year) students was INR 7.50 LPA and INR 4.15 LPA, respectively. For PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 2 LPA and INR 3.75 LPA, respectively.

There are no free courses available at SDMIMD. Hence, students will have to pay the admission as well as the application fee. The total tuition fee for various courses varies and differs as per the duration and the chosen specialisation. The below-mentioned is the total tuition fee decided for various courses:

At the PG level, SDMIMD offers a two-year full-time residential PGDM course to students. The college also provides PhD programmes to students. Other programmes offered by the college include Management Development Programmes, FDP, etc. There are 5 international faculty members teaching PGDM course modules. The college provides various add-on certifications. 

Admissions to the SDMIMD are not hard for hardworking students. Students must prepare well for the entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams are MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT, ATMA, and others. To prepare well, students must follow the entrance exam books and practice as much as possible.
