Canada offers post study work permit to international students after their graduation from Canadian universities. IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) may take weeks or even months to process your study permit. Students should therefore apply as soon as they obtain their offer letters (admission and study permit information letter through email).

Yes, students are permitted to study two courses together at UNSW. This helps them to gain knowledge of two expert areas, broadening your storehouse of skills and career options. A double degree does not mean that your workload will increase. In it, the core courses of both degrees will be completed at the same time. This way you will be able to pursue two undergraduate courses in less time.

From the day your documents are received by the embassy, the visa process may take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Rest, it depends upon the embassy you're applying to and your country.

Candidates are advised to apply early. It increases your chance of admission to the more competitive programmes and obtaining on-campus housing. Applications are accepted up to one year before the intended first semester.

Yes, international students are allowed to do part-time work while studying in Canada. However, there is a cap on the number of hours a student can work per week. International students can work up to 20 hours per week, meanwhile, it is recommended to work only 15 hours a week to not affect your studies. You can work as a waiter or cashier in a restaurant or mart. You can even give private tuition in part-time work. The study visa for Canada allows international students to work while studying. This helps to reduce the financial burden and cover other expenses.
