Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. Overall, its a good college if you are living near it and average placements.
Placements: My branch was introduced 4 years before I joined, so the placements of CSE branch will be this year. But according to college information out of 120 students, 109 got placed. Top companies are Infosys, TCS, Adani Group, Mahindra, and many local companies. Internships are provided to all students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present all over campus. Classrooms are in good condition. Library is well maintained. I don't know about the hostel that much. There is no ground in the college. But many clubs are present in the college. Recruitment is pretty good too. Canteen has good food, and prices are decent too.
Faculty: Some teachers have good way of teaching and some we don't understand. I am taking about first year related to my branch the only subjects, and others like physics, chemistry, B. Com that's why I don't understand. I don't know about the 2 years so you need to find it. Semester exams are easy.
Other: Some events are pretty good, and the main event Yash is pretty good too.

The best college in Nagpur.
Placements: More than 80% of students are placed during placement campus drives. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest average is 4 LPA. Some top recruiters are Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. All the students got internships from college as well as from outside.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available on campus regarding your branches. Labs are available anytime with experienced lab assistants. Wi-Fi, libraries, etc., are available. Hostel facilities are also excellent with neat and clean campus. The food quality is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They are highly qualified like PhDs and have deep knowledge of their particular subjects. The academic curriculum is also well-designed which covers all the important topics and makes students industry-ready. The exams are not that difficult if you prepare well for the exams.

About Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha.
Placements: YCCE offers the best placements among the most other colleges in Nagpur. The average package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. A lot of students are able to get placements from the campus only. The package is not so high, but it still might be a good start.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are just okay. Labs need improvement. But the college provides a library. Wi-Fi is also provided, but the speed is not so good. There are canteens in the college, though the price is pretty high. Labs are recently equipped with smart boards.
Faculty: Some teachers are good while some are not. We cannot understand some teachers and their doubt clearing is also not so good. We are from the teaching field, but our course lacks practical learning and application. Mid-semester exams are of decent level but compared to them end-semester exams are quite harder. The pass marks required are a minimum of 10 marks in end-semester exams and 40 in total.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. The course should focus more on practical learning and its application. The campus hosts various fests and events. It has a lot of crowd.

Great placements for the batch of 2025, facilities can be improved.
Placements: Nearly 45% of students get placed via the college placement drive. The highest package that the batch of 2025 gets an offer letter for is 9.5 LPA, with the average standing at 3.5 LPA. Most of students even get internships with the help of the college training and placement cell.
Infrastructure: There are newly built labs at the college, designed specifically for the new branches, with updated systems and software that help provide a better hands-on experience for all the emerging technologies. The quality of food available is good, and there are two canteens present on the YCCE campus.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, students can go to them for anything, for academic help or rather that extracurricular activities. Every faculty member has their own method of teaching that is unique and resourceful in its own way. They have years of experience that are reflected in their style of teaching.
Other: IoT is one of the most booming sectors right now, which makes me choose it as my field of work. It would be better if the college takes us to industries that are currently working in this field, to give us a better understanding of how IoT actually works in the industrial sector.

Good in infrastructure and placements, teaching is really good.
Placements: In the IT branch, a total of 70 to 80 students were placed in 2023. The highest package was about 18 LPA and the lowest was about 5 LPA. Recruitment was conducted by big companies like Wipro, Meesho, and others like Microsoft. Internships were average, like 70-80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are great. There is a free Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Infrastructure is good. There are 3 canteens, of which 2 serve good food, taste is also good, and prices are moderate. Sports grounds are available and have a medical center, Datta Meghe.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive. I'm telling this from my personal experience. The quality of teaching is best, some teachers teach the best ever. The course does not make you industry-ready. You have to take other classes also for that. The semester exams are hard, but mid-semester exams are easy.

Sad reality of YCCE college.
Placements: As far as we know, the recession is going on in our IT industry. There is very high shortage of placements in every college. Students are getting placed one by one in this season with companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When talking to seniors, they told me the placement rate was 60%.
Infrastructure: There we have our separate departments. Wi-Fi facilities are provided inside the labs only and our cellular network is low-use. We don't have our own cricket and football grounds for sports; we have to depend on other colleges grounds. Canteens and hostels have average tastes in food.
Faculty: The curriculum is not up-to-date for specialized branches but branches like IOT have better scope as they fall under the electronics department. Exams are way too serious; you have to study hard to score. There are no cheating in exams and teachers are very strict. You can pass easily by studying in one day, too.
Other: Events and fests are organized by students and enjoyed by them.
