TU Delft in the Netherlands and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States are two of the top-ranked universities in the world. Both offer STEM programs for students and also contributed to global innovation. If we compare them in terms of ranking, MIT is the  #1 University in the world by QS while TU Delft ranks #47 in the world. However, besides rankings there are many other factors that makes a university better. Therefore, international students should check the tuition, accommodation cost and other expenses along with university ranking while choosing a university.

I can tell you for UK. GPA plays a major factor while you're applying. But if your Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Letter of Reference (LOR) academic, is strong enough then you shouldn't be worried much. Also the best part about UK is most of them are public universities, so application fee is not applicable so you should try your luck with as many universities you like.
