BITS Scholarship Endowment Fund is created to provide scholarships to meritorious students with a constrained financial background. The fund aims to create an endowment of INR 2 crore, which shall be invested as a Fixed Deposit and the interest generated shall be used to fund the scholarship.
At present, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships are awarded to students whose annual family income from all sources is less than INR 8 lakh. The cut-off CGPA for each level is decided every year, however, an approximate number of students receiving the BITS Hyderabad scholarships are mentioned below:

As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that BITS Pilani alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 36% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 12% and 11% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors.
