Under the UGC (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2017, BITS Pilani is classified as an Institution of Eminence. BITS Pilani's Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) are a one-of-a-kind set of educational opportunities for working professionals. WILP are an extended version of the BITS Pilani Campuses' programmes and are analogous to the normal programmes in terms of unit/credit requirements and academic rigour. Furthermore, it capitalises on and expands on students' experience in the field through a high degree of integration, resulting in not only knowledge upgradation but also up skilling and increased productivity. Degrees, diplomas, and certificates in science, technology/engineering, management, and humanities and social sciences may be awarded as a result of the programme.

To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you will study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and company officials vet the syllabus. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they provide cybersecurity, IoT, Data Science, machine learning, and many more. The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a B.Tech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google.
