They are providing really good placements opportunities for their students and many firms and companies like Trident India (9 lacs+), Wipro (8 lacs+), Pengea 3 ( 5lacs+), OSC Knowledge Center, HDFC Ergo, Legacy Law Mind Merchant, Quislex are coming which are offering average 6 lacs package to the students. The placement cell is really active and it placed 38 out of 40 students of 2014 batch which is 95% of those students who applied for the placements. Placements :Placements in our college are very good compared to other colleges in the Punjab region. Many reputed companies visit the college to offer placements, and many students get placed with good salary packages. Students are made ready for the corporate world. Infrastructure :It's a Wi-Fi enabled campus, and the connectivity is good. Classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games are provided by the university. Good industry exposure is provided to students. Food provided in the canteens and hostels is good. Faculty :The teachers are well-trained and well-qualified for their jobs. They are very serious about placements and the future of students. We get good industry exposure.

Placements: Placements in SLIET are good when compared with the state-level institutes in the current scenario. Placements in our college will get improved. Many companies like HP, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many other companies visit the campus to hire the students of the IT and electronics departments. So all the students of these branches get placed. Many MNCs like Godrej, Honda, and Mahindra, etc., visit the campus to hire the students of the mechanical department. Both the placement cell and alumni cell of the college work hard to provide placement opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 423 acres. The campus is lush green. It provides a well-developed infrastructure at a nominal fee. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Both the hostel rooms and classrooms are in good condition. The institute has a central library, and the central library contains a huge number of books. There is also a digital library available for students. Overall, the infrastructure of the institute is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are highly experienced and qualified. Many teachers of our college are from NITs and IITs. Labs and workshops are equipped with the latest machines. There is an advanced welding lab available for welding students where many of the advanced welding processes are taught. Teaching methods followed by the teachers are good.
Other: There are a number of groups available in the institute. These groups organise many events in the college. The college also organises a tech fest for students.
