NIPER allows Relaxation in CGPA to 6.25 (on a 10-point scale) or in marks to 55% or equivalent in the eligibility criteria is allowed for SC and ST candidates. It also allows relaxation in eligibility requirement of CGPA to 5.75 (on a 10-point scale) or to 50% marks or equivalent to the Physically handicapped (PH) candidates.

The University has released the overall placement data for UG (4-year) courses. A total of 4 students were placed out of 28 graduates in 2022. The SGGSWU average package is yet to be released officially. However, the NIRF report 2023 includes the 2022 median package, which is as follows:
