LPU's CSE is honestly one of the most popular and packed branches the first year batch is huge, which actually works in your favor because you get to meet a ton of people, build a solid network early on, and the competitive environment keeps you on your toes. It's one of the reasons their tech placements are so strong too.

In terms of placements, I would choose LPU because of its larger placement ecosystem and recruiter network. The university regularly hosts more than 2200 recruiters and facilitates thousands of placement offers every year. Students from management programs get opportunities in sectors like consulting, banking, IT, analytics, and marketing. Placement training starts early with aptitude preparation, communication development, and mock interviews. The scale of opportunities available at LPU gives students a significant advantage when compared with many other private institutions.

Yes, a 93 percentile in JEE Main is generally a good score and can help during the admission process at LPU. The university accepts admissions through LPUNEST and also considers national-level entrance exam performances for certain programs. As a student, I feel LPU provides a smooth admission process along with scholarship opportunities. Even if you choose not to appear for LPUNEST, your JEE score can strengthen your profile. You should also check scholarship eligibility because good scores often lead to fee benefits.

Among engineering branches, CSE is generally considered the strongest at LPU due to placement opportunities, industry demand, and specialized programs. Fields like AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security are particularly popular. Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering also have experienced faculty and good infrastructure. Faculty members across departments are generally supportive and focus on practical learning, projects, and industry exposure. However, CSE tends to receive the highest recruiter attention, making it a preferred branch for many students.

For MBA, I would prefer LPU because of its stronger placement support, industry-oriented curriculum, and larger recruiter participation. The MBA programme includes live projects, internships, corporate interactions, and specialisation choices. Students get exposure to industry experts and leadership development activities. The fee structure is competitive, and LPUNEST-based scholarships can significantly reduce costs. With a strong alumni network and good placement opportunities across sectors like finance, marketing, HR, and analytics, LPU offers a well-rounded MBA experience.

Placements are one of the strongest aspects of LPU. The university has attracted over 2200 recruiters and generated thousands of placement offers annually. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, and many others recruit from the campus. The highest international package has reached around ₹2.5 crore, while many students secure good domestic packages as well. The placement preparation process starts early with training programs, mock interviews, and skill development sessions. Overall, placement opportunities are quite strong for students who remain consistent with academics and skill-building.

For B.Tech CSE at LPU, the admission process is generally linked to your Class 12 eligibility (especially Physics and Mathematics) and the university's own admission rules. LPUNEST is not always a must, but a lot of students still end up taking it, because it can help with scholarships and in certain cases it may even support their overall admission profile a bit more. So, your 12th marks basically decide eligibility, whereas LPUNEST is mostly about scholarships, and other extra benefits. If your Class 12 score is good, you can usually get admission. Still, taking LPUNEST may give you better odds of receiving a fee concession.

LPU doesn't really put out a precise seat count for B.Tech CSE, and the intake might shift from year to year depending on what specializations they're offering and also regulatory approvals. That said, CSE is pretty much one of the university's biggest and most in demand programs so it has multiple sections, plus streams like AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and even Full Stack Development. Because the overall capacity is large, students who are eligible and apply during the admission window usually end up with a decent shot at getting a seat. It's less about a hard, fixed seat limit being the main decider, and m

Yes, in most cases you can still apply , if admissions for your program are already open. Just go to the admission portal, register first, pick your program , then fill in your academic details, add the required documents, and send in the application. LPU does admissions in several phases, and you can submit your application as long as seats are still available.

If you are at the moment pursuing a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, you can usually get admission into B.Tech Aerospace Engineering by way of lateral entry once your diploma is completed. In that situation, you jump straight into the 2nd year (that is the 3rd semester) of the B.Tech course and you only have to study for 3 more years in order to earn the degree, rather than doing the usual 4 years. Some universities like Lovely Professional University do have lateral entry options for eligible diploma holders. The exact eligibility , it mostly relies on your diploma percentage and on how the university frames its admission rules, b
