Lovely Professional University does accept transfer or migration students into programs like B.Sc. Agriculture, including entry directly into the 2nd year, provided certain conditions are met. The university has a well-defined migration policy to allow students from other recognised colleges to continue their education without losing academic progress. To be eligible, students must have completed the first year of a similar degree programme at a recognised university or institution with satisfactory academic performance. Their transcripts, mark sheets, and detailed syllabi are required for evaluation. The transfer process involves

Honestly, Robotics & AI at TIET is still pretty new, so placements aren't separate or “guaranteed” yet. Most students sit with CSE/COE/ENC during placements, and that's where the real action is.

Thapar's overall placement scene is solid though — big names like Microsoft, Adobe, Atlassian, DE Shaw, Zomato, Amazon, Flipkart do come in. If you're skilled, you won't be held back just because your branch says AI.

If you want a safer + stronger option, I'd say:

  • COE (Computer Engineering) – best placements overall

  • CSE – great if you get it

  • ENC (Electronics & Computer) – underrated, very good mix of hardware + software

  • ECE – decent, bu

Yes, you can get admission in BA at LPU with 75% in Class 12. The minimum percentage required for admission to this programme at the university ranges from 50%-60% typically. So, 75% is good score. However, seats are offered through a set selection process only. Getting good marks in Class 12 alone won't be enough. Students can contact the LPU admission team to know more.
