As per cutoff 2023, the closing ranks for B.E. in CSE was 20666, for the General category All India candidates. Analysis of cut offs for previous years for the same reveals that CIT has seen an improving trend since 2021. In 2022, the cutoff in Round 1 was 31961 and in 2021, it was 21393. The minimum eligibility is having a valid COMDEK cutoff ranging around the aforementioned cutoffs.

Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi was inaugurated by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi former Prime Minister of India on June 26, 1981. It is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). According to the university board Students are admitted in unreserved and various reserved categories strictly on the basis of merit in the respective category through an entrance examination as per the reservation rules of Jharkhand state.
