Birla Institute of Technology prepares the cutoff list based on applicants JEE scores. It may also accept NEET scores for certain specialisations. As per the BIT Mesra BSc+MSc cutoff 2024, the most competitive specialisation was integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing. The closing rank was 54654 for the General-All India category. It was followed by quantitative economics and data Science with 76777 and 113731 for Physics.

The total course fee for the BIT Mesra BSc + MSc course is cumulative of multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. A candidate can confirm their seat only on payment of the course fees. BIT Mesra course admission to the integrated BSc+MSc courses is entrance-based. The institute shortlist candidates based on their performance in JEE Main/NEET exam. In addition, the applicants must be fulfilling the course-specific eligibility requirements as well. The eligible students can visit the BIT Mesra official website to register and fill out the application form. A merit/cutoff list is then released by the institute. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria can apply for admission.

It is necessary that all the integrated BSc + MSc aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. The applications of only the eligible students is considered valid. Students who are Class 12 or equivalent examination pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for the integrated programme.
