Eligibility Criteria for BAU MBA Agri Business Admission 

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Horticulture, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, Fisheries, Biotechnology, Biological Science & Food Processing/Technology will be eligible for the course. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination may apply but completion of degree is required before Group Discussion and interview. Candidates of SC & ST categories with 55% marks and candidates of all other categories with 60 % marks are eligible. Candidates with good CAT score will be considered and be exempted from the written test.

Seats and Reservation Policy:

• There are 40 seats in MBA (Agribusiness) Post graduate degree programme. Out of which 50% seats are reserved for the residents of Jharkhand. Reservation policy of the state government shall be applicable.

Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi was inaugurated by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi former Prime Minister of India on June 26, 1981. It is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).  It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agricultural, and Forestry.

BAU Ranchi cut off is based on the marks decided by the University and the number of candidates appeared for exam. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks to apply for further admission process. On the other hand, the general category cutoff falls between 80 and 90 for score and between 1 and 100 for general category cutoff rank, according to the prior data. In addition to the BAU written exam, which is necessary for admission to the PhD programme, BAU also administers its own entrance tests, such as the CET for UG courses and the MET for PG courses. Candidates for the MBA programme must have graduated with 60% or above in any discipline from an accredited university.
