If we look at the admission procedure for BCA course the application form is there available on the university webiste which needs to be downloaded and you need to fill that along with required documents mentioned in it like 10th,12th marksheet. Admission is based on merit and the exam is national level entrance exam. 

Ranchi University is a government University whereas NIMS University is a private university. As private universities have better infrastructure, college life and extra curricular activities. NIMS is better than Ranchi University in various aspects like the faculty members are good and highly qualified. The are well-equipped with modern facilities like computer labs and all. I will prefer NIMS BBSR for BCA course. In Ranchi University, the BCA placements packages are also quite lower as compared to Naxatra Institute of Media Studies .
