The interview process of IIM Ranchi is held under CAP (common admission process). The candidates who qualify for CAT are further invited to the personal interview round. Sure, a candidate can get admission to IIM Ranchi without CAT as long as he or she doesn't want to pursue MBA. IIM Ranchi course admissions are entrance-based. For admission to the MBA course the college accepts only CAT score, but for other courses the institute accepts GMAT/ GRE/ IPMAT etc.

Only for admission to the Executive MBA course, the aspirants are required to appear just for the personal interview round.
