After pursuing hotel management you will have a very tough job in some hotel department like f&b, housekeeping, front office, kitchen etc. You will be working for 12–16 hrs a day. You’ll not have any fixed offs. No off on weekends and no social life. You just sleep and work. Your starting salary will be INR 13,000–15,000. This is the sad reality of the hospitality industry. Until and unless you are management trainee. First few years are really struggling in the hotel industry.
