The total fee for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is INR 49,500. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than INR 1 Lacs per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee. Other economically backward students, whose family income falls between INR 1 Lacs to 5 Lacs per annum, are granted a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.

Institute of Hotel Management Gurdaspur and Institute of Hotel Management Shimla both the institutions have their strengths and weakness. IHM Gurdaspur offers Diploma courses in five specializations. IHM Shimla placement percentage for students placed in various hotels and aligned service sectors within 3 months of graduation is about 90%. Both the institutions have their merits it is important to consider factors such as the reputation of the institution, quality of education and the placement opportunities offered.

IHM Gurdaspur offers 5 UG Diploma courses including Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie, Diploma in Food Production, Diploma in Front Office, Diploma in Housekeeping, and Diploma in Food and Beverage Service. The total seats available for these courses are 237. The fee structure for UG Diploma courses at IHM Gurdaspur ranges from INR 25 K to INR 47 K.

SIHM-Jabalpur (State Government IHM) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
BHMCandidate must have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from recognised Board/Council.
Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can apply on provisional basis.
List of qualifying exams:
Central/State Board, such as CBSE & Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised university.
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University
Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country that should be recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Both institutions offer Bachelor of Science programs with different specializations. Bodoland University offers B.Sc. in specializations such as Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science & Technology, Geography, Mathematical Science, Physics, and Zoology, while SMIT, Sikkim offers B.Sc. in specializations such as Computer Science, Chemistry (Hons.), Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education & Sports, Economics, and Clinical Psychology.

The average package offered by Bodoland University was INR 4 LPA for BSc courses. On the other hand, the average package offered by SMIT Sikkim was INR 6 LPA for BSc courses.

It would be hard to say YES or NO as it depends on various factors like budget factor, career goals, distance, hostel facilities.

all these factors affects every person but in different ways if we see the course curriculum of both the universities then it is as follows:

Bodoland university offers B.Sc. in specialisation in 8 departments Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science & Technology, Geography, Mathematical Science, Physics, Zoology

whereas SMIT offer B.Sc. in 7 specializations as Computer Science, Chemistry (Hons.), Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education & Sports, Economics, Clinical Psychology.

NO, NEVER its 100% clear that SMIT Sikkim is very much better than Bodoland University 

If we compare in terms of placements where  Bodoland University have crisis for placements it has almost no placements according to the reviews of the students on internet almost every student has to search for job of their own 

Whereas its just opposite in SMIT Sikkim has offered they have offered 522 jobs to the batch of 377 students.A total of 67 companies participated in placement drive of SMIT Sikkim

Average package of SMIT was almost INR 6.02 LPA and the highest package was almost INR 29.25 LPA anmd the interships were offered

According to the information available on the internet if we compare Bodoland university & SMIT (Sikkim Manipal University) Sikkim.

The SMIT (Sikkim Manipal University) is good for MBA

SMIT total fees is about 5.5 Lacs and the avaerage median salary is about 4.8 LPA it means you get good return on investment whereas the highest package is 42 LPA.

Top recruiters are ACCENTURE | Amazon | CapGemini | Cognizant | Daikin | Dell | E&Y | GODREJ | IBM etc.s.

Total seats intakes are 60.

Admission based on the performance in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ (CAT)/ University Entrance Test.

As per the last round of IHM Jaipur NCHM MSc JEE Counselling2023 the closing Rank at which student got the admission was 116
