Hey Ashutosh,
You have very good marks in JEE as well as in your board exams. You may get a seat in NIT but that depends on the applications as well as the cutoff. You should go for counselling. Also it is suggested to have some alternate plans because as sometimes you may get the college but not your preferred streams. You can consider colleges like BITS, SRM and Lovely Professional University.

DREAM BIG. why u r an nit aspirant. Be an iit aspirant.
in jee mains this year cutt off for sc was 52 but dat doesn't mean dat u ll get good nit. atleast u should score 180-210 for good nit like nit trichy or nit warangal.

105 is the last year cutoff for JEE-mains.

There is no point giving a false hope. I would suggest start looking for admission in premier private universities like BITS, MU and Lovely Professional University etc.
Taking a drop would not be a logical step as gap year affects your career a lot.
Dont worry on the placement or Education part. If you would be good you would obviously do well. Best of Luck.
