No it maybe difficult for you to get admission in NIT Trichy as cut off is quite high in NITs but it also depends on your interest which stream you are going to choose,if for example you want CSE then it may be difficult for you to get seat but if you choose stream such as biotechnology or textile then there may be chance for you to take admission but don't worry as there is second chance in which you can improve your scores. The last year top opening rank of NIT Trichy was 538 in CSE in home state quota under your category. While the highest closing rank was 42725 in civil engineering. So, you have to score above 100 marks in JEE Main.

At NIT Trichy, the ore and crores in last year for CS were 982 and 4041 and in Mechanical were 1053 and 10268 respectively. Hence, you have to score above 200 for CS and above 150 for mechanical. While at NIT Warangal or and crores in CS were 1435 and 1962 and or and crores in Mechanical were 5958 and 7966 respectively. Hence, you have to score above 200 for CS and above 150 for Mechanical in JEE Main.

It depends on which course you would like to choose in NIT, Trichy. Like the main courses which have high demand which is not possible but the courses which have quite less demand might be available. Even your category comes into consideration here at the time of counselling.

Hi Abhishek, generally BIM cut off for SC stays around 60-65 percentile, however depending on the influx of application cut-off may vary. At 50% you have a pretty low chance of getting the call.

Hi Raj,BIM follows Tamil Nadu reservation policies it has most of the reserved seats under SC, ST, BC and BCM categories, as CAT cut off do vary year to year basis. If you come under above-mentioned categories, you can go for an attempt, you might get an interview call based on your profile. Other colleges I can refer are LIBA and NIT Trichy.
