Both the campuses are good. Both of the campuses have their own reputation in engineering. In terms of placements, NIT Trichy stands a bit above DTU. In terms of infrastructure DTU may stand above NIT Trichy.

NIT Trichy is better then NIT Delhi in all the aspects but if you are looking for a private sector job, then you can go for CSE or if you want to study abroad or to have a job in government sector, then you can go for CHE.

NIT, Tiruchirappalli in all programmes 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% marks for OC/OB whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree is required.
