It depends on the no. of applicants applying for this year. Last year, with the same percentile, students had got a call. It depends on your performance in GD and PI.

Placements are going on. Last year, it was 100%. It is not a bad option to do MBA.

Of course, there is a good percentage of weightage for CAT results together with profile and GD-PI performance.

If you are considering return on investment, then DoMS NIT Trichy is the better option.
