No, NIT Trichy does not offer admission to any of its courses directly. Admission is strictly entrance-based. For BTech, MTech, MSc, and MCA courses, national-level examinations such as JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM, and NIMCET are accepted. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam scores further need to take part in the respective counselling procedures such as JoSAA for BTech,  CCMT for MTech, and CCMN for MSc. Hi.Oxford Engineering College offers a 4 years B.E.  course at the UG level. Selection to the B.E. / B.Tech programme is done on the basis of a valid TNEA and CBSE 12th score. In addition to this, candidates must also meet the set eligibility criteria which is :- 45% in XII (for general category students).
