It would be useless and they would also insult you. They don't care about the percentage, they just want you to have all subjects cleared certificate. There is another option if you give your boards from NIOS board in an emergent situation. You can easily pass the subjects there and the year would not be wasted. All the best and be strong.

There call depends on the number of students appeared and rank designated. If more than 25k students have appeared and ranks are designated, then the first call would be for 1 to 3000 rank holders and the other you can easily guess.

I think you should take admission in COMEDK. It has various good colleges like MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology and RVCE in Bangalore. They are the topmost colleges for CS. Their placement is very good since they are located in the IT city, Bangalore.

It should fall around 400-500. When I went for COMEDK counselling two years back, it got closed at 470 something in second round. If you are in top 750 you should be able to bag CSE/ISE. Mechanical in MSRIT and CS in BMS are good too, but as per me, go for ISE in RV than CS in any other college.
Good luck.

Hi Ritik,
You are not supposed to submit original documents for any counseling and admission process. You have to carry only the original certificates and at least one set of attested photocopies of all the documents at the time of counseling. This is also notified by UGC.
