Your rank doesn't assure you of a seat in NIT or any other government college especially in computer science branch. You can apply for best private engineering colleges and appear for their entrance. You may even get scholarship based on your score in the exam. Some suggested universities -

I would also suggest you to apply to BMSCE and PESIT for Mechanical Engineering, as they have similar cutoffs as MSRIT. RVCE has a much higher cutoff. But Mechanical Engineering at MSRIT is an excellent course that is improving day by day. Therefore, I suggest that you work towards the course and make your studies

Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
