Last year mechanical at NIE had a cutoff of about 13000. If your rank falls within it. chances are that you might get a seat.

If you're trying NIE. you must have some reservation to join the college. please send me the details of your rank and reservations any.

if it is under 1000 then it's good for you.
you will get CSE or ECE branch in top three colleges of Karnataka.
The colleges are:
1. RV college of engineering
2.PES university
3.BMSCE
4. MS ramiah.

No you cannot get seat in M.S. Ramaiah for ECE branch. If paying extra fees means management quota,then yes.

Sasat, how would one know that. And what is the importance of knowing this. Your question must be related to your own chances with respect to the cut off percentage. Yes, form a general point of view thousands must have given the exam. That would not make your chances less if you have scored well.

CS and IT are the two branches in which most of the students would be aiming for. With 81 in COMEDK, I feel its pretty difficult to get in top 5 colleges, especially in CS or IT

yes you can get seat in CSE branch but I think you have to wait till 2nd round of counselling.
