Take CAT exam, and opt for IIM Calicut. Visit the website of Calicut University's Department of Commerce and Management. Most Universities follow a curriculum of spoon-feeding, teach theory, and let-off. Business Management syllabus must be a good mixture of theory and practice, and the faculty should also have corporate experience or exposure in the relevant field along with their academic credentials. I think your concern is the quality of education than the salary offered or placement assistance. Please visit the websites of these two institutions to understand the curriculum, the quality of faculty, its accreditation by NAAC/NAB, etc. Talk to a few alumni of both the institutions and current students and get convinced yourself to make the right choice.
