Admission to most of the BSc specialisations at Dr. D.Y. Patil Arts, Commerce, and Science College releases the merit list of shortlisted applicants according to the candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12. Additionally, for some of the BSc specialisations, the college gives admission as per the selection procedure/ policies adopted by the respective college in accordance with conditions laid by the University of Pune. Thus, many times students get admission to the BSc course according to their Class 12 percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology.

KJSAC was established in 1959. K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is accredited with A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
