No, Commerce subjects and streams are not compulsory for admission to the BBA course at SRMCEM Lucknow. The only primary eligibility required to get admission into the BBA course at SRMCEM Lucknow is that applicants must complete their Class 12 with a minimum of 50%. However, if an applicant is from Commerce stream, it is a plus point because in the entrance exam (LUACMAT), it gives 40% weightage to Commerce and Management in paper 1. Additionally, Numerical Aptitude/Elementary Maths carries 20% weight in paper 2.

Generally, the latest cutoff for B.Com. with ACCA at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune, would lie between 84 and 86%.
- Admission is purely merit-based, so no separate exam is conducted; multiple merit lists are prepared, and the cutoff might slightly dwindle with each round. Keeping above 84 percent has always been considered safe.
- Cutoff can vary, year to year, depending on the number of applicants and the board results, so it always best to keep a eye on their official website while the list roll down.

Common entrance tests taken to get into an undergraduate degree course are CUET UG (in central universities like DU in B.Com Hons, BBA), IPMAT (in IIMs to pursue Integrated Program in Management), SET (in BBA in Symbiosis), and NPAT (in NMIMS in BBA and B.Com Hons).
